On the road in Switzerland

Gschichtlibus

A little bus, big stories.

A small blue bus, a warm lantern, a stack of stories. We park in playgrounds, schoolyards, in front of libraries and at neighborhood festivals. Volunteers open the back doors, kids settle on blankets, and together we step into the world of Lunory.

The Lunory Storybus, a blue VW van with a golden moon, children listening to a volunteer reading a book in a forest clearing
Luno picks the next story from his castle library.
Together with Luno

Luno opens his library, and kids step inside.

In Lunory, Luno lives in a quiet castle full of stories. When the Storybus stops somewhere, Luno opens the doors of his library and shares the next story with the kids gathered around. For a short, magical moment, the bus, the blanket and the trees disappear, and the story is the only thing in the world.

What happens at a stop

An hour that feels like a small ritual.

Stories, read out loud

Volunteers read curated Lunory stories out loud, gentle, warm and made for kids aged 3 to 10.

Kids join in

Kids can suggest heroes, names and worlds. The next story slowly grows out of their own ideas.

Meeting Luno

Luno greets every child, listens, and invites them into his world. No screens, no hurry.

A story to take home

Every family leaves with a small printed story card, so the magic continues at bedtime.

Where we stop

We come to where the kids are.

The Storybus is a side project of our small Swiss team. We drive on weekends and during school holidays, free of charge, simply because we love seeing kids light up when a story begins.

Our promise

Quiet, screen-free, kids first.

No screens on site

At the bus there are no tablets and no app demos. Only voices, books and Luno.

Free and voluntary

Every stop is free for families and hosts. We do not sell anything at the bus.

Safe by design

All stories are age-appropriate and curated. Parents are warmly welcome to stay and listen.
